Summary:
A leader in the composite manufacturing industry currently has an opening for the temporary HR assistant position in its Pittsburgh, PA location.
This professional will be responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Actively support in Hiring-sourcing, screening & scheduling candidates, Maintain job applications, schedule & complete pre-employment requirements New Hire paperwork Complete Forms i9, verifies i9 documentation and complete e-verify.
Submits New Hires information at PA Career site.
Ensure daily attendance in UKG Compile and update employee records in Oracle Maintain Employee files Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Department Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Advanced knowledge of computers and related software.
Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases Basic knowledge of labor laws Excellent organizational skills Strong communications skills Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
Experience:
1-3 years of proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position EDUCATION:
High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
